5 Feng Shui Tips To Remove The Blocks That Are Holding You

Paola

I was having a coaching session with a client of mine the other day and she said she could not understand why, despite having worked a lot on herself over the past five years to remove negative thought patterns, she was still unable to attract financial prosperity into her life.

We went through what she had been able to remove and her new thoughts and the self-development work she is now doing, but we could not identify anything that might explain why she was unable to move forward in her life.

So I asked her to send me some pictures of her home. And I realized where and what the blocks might be. Clearly a few pictures are not enough for a thorough Feng Shui consulting session but where sufficient to give her the same tips I’m offer you in my video below.

    • It is powerful indeed. Whenever I want to change something in my life, I work on different levels: first and foremost my innerself – no change is possibile unless you make that change within yourself; at the same time I take the necessary actions and implement the necessary changes in my environment – home and office. All these levels are deeply and strictly interconnected to one another. So whatever you do at one level, reflects on the others.

  1. Hey Paola – was so great to see you in video! We chat so often on skype that is was great to actually see you 🙂

I don’t know much about Feng Shui but I find it sooo interesting! These have been some awesome tips in here. The corners were amazing, im sitting here looking around in my open plan house and realising how much stuff I shove in the corners. I am now going on a cleaning spree and going to make sure I have all these tips covered.
    thanks for sharing
    cheers

  2. Hi Paola,

Thank you so much for this post. Boy have I got some work to do! I’ve been planning on decluttering and have made a few starts but it needs to be an ongoing process. You have just given me extra inspiration to get on with the job!

I always find I think much more clearly when I am not surrounded by clutter.

I have had some limited experience with Feng Shui in the workplace, one of the tips I’ve been given is never sit with your back to the door. I’ve found this to also be good practical advice.

    • Hi Rowena,

thank you for your comment. A piece of advice I can give you about decluttering, don’t think you must get rid of your clutter in one go. Just do some decluttering regularly, maybe starting from your wardrobe one day, drawers, another day, or your office desk another day, your office file cabinet the next day and so on. This way you’ll not be overwhelmend by the task and, by doing it regularly, you make it become a habit!

Yes, definetly never sit with your back to the door otherwise you’ll always be on the alert!

I’m preparing a series of posts on specific Feng Shui tips for the office, so come back to my blog soon!

  3. Hi Paola,

Thank you for your very sensible Feng Shui tips. It is so timely for me to read this because the other day I was praying for help with my blocks. That night I had a dream of a wealthy friend who came back from a trip and he was picking up stuff on the floor and straightening up his lovely home. When I woke up, I interpreted it to be the answer to my question. As you reminded us, the energy flow is very important in one’s home in order to attract the highest energies of wealth. Thanks so much for taking the time to do your video. It’s great to hear your voice and see you. It’s like visiting a friend.
    Blessings,
    Miriam

    • Hi Miriam,
I’m glad you liked my video! This is the real beauty of publishing video posts: people can connect with a real person! They can look at your face and see your eyes which is so important when you are building a relationship with another person: a person’s eyes are a reflection of his/her soul!
Back to feng shui and to let the energy in your home flow freely so that you can attract what you desire. It’s not pure coincidence that you had that dream and were attracted to my post at the same time. They both conveyed the same message to you: it’s a confirmation that probably what you need to do is to support your block removing process with some decluttering exercise. Have you started yet?

    • Thanks Tim. Feng Shui is a really fascinating science. It makes you much more aware of your environment and of the energy in it. Small yet balanced and precise changes help the energy in your environment flow smoothly and freely. As a result, the people living in that envirnoment are re-energized and are able to attract what they desire into their lives. What ideas did my video inspire you for your home? I would really like to know.

    • Thank you for your comment. Decluttering is always a good exercise to do: you get rid of what you don’t need any longer in your life and make room for the new. It’s incredible the flow of new things you start attracting the moment you let go of your clutter. So, start creating your prosperous space and enjoy the process!

  8. Hi there Paula, I begin trashing empty containers on my kitchen this morning. I am very excited to welcome 2012 with a minimalist look on my house. I still need to convince my boys to trash all those photocopy papers on their research papers yet. Again, thanks for a great post. I just came to realize that it feels good living on a house with not much unnecessary things.
